Wanda Martin Freeman, 66, died on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Pine Acres Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lexington.
Mrs. Freeman was born on August 1, 1957 in Rockingham County to the late Hardy Reid Martin and Helen Murray Martin. For many years, Wanda worked at the Madison Flower Shop and Colonial Tin Works. She loved cats, crafting jewelry and making floral arrangements for her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Andrew Freeman; son, Alex Allen (Shana); grandchildren, Olivia and Lucas Allen; brother, Randy Martin (Suzanne Knight) and many special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rockingham County Animal Shelter, 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, NC 27320.
