Rueann Manuel, 52, left this earthly home on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
A 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Ray Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Rueann was born in Rockingham County to the late William and Virginia Bolen Manuel. In 1989, Rueann graduated from Madison-Mayodan High School. Then in 1993, graduated from Campbell University. She worked the past few decades at LabCorp in Burlington, NC. She had a love and talent for painting, drawing, and crocheting. She loved making things for her family, friends, and co-workers to enjoy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rod Manuel and her sister, Rhonda Manuel Duncan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Fay Manuel; her brothers, Ricky Ward and Randy Ward (Cathy); her aunts, Kay Davis (Jerry) and Florence Bolen; nephews, Derek Ward, Keelan Murray, and Hunter Duncan; her niece, Katie Simmons (Brad); great nieces, Ivory Simmons, Laila Simmons, and Shelby Simmons; and a host of cousins, Little Rick, Suzanne, Tasha, friends, and co-workers.
