Rena White Stevens, 84, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 6, 2024.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday May 9, 2024 at the Old Country Church in Madison with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. and all other times at the home.

Rena was born on June 25, 1939 to the late Marvin and Rena White. She was a devoted Christian that loved her church and church family. Rena was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother that loved spending time with family and cooking for them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles Wayne Stevens; and sister Ruth White.

She is survived by her sons, Dwayne Stevens (Stephanie), Tim Stevens (Jodi), Jeff Stevens (Tara); grandchildren, Magen Stevens, Lacey Stevens (Fiancé Mitch Coleman), Kyle Stevens, Dylan Stevens, Ethan Stevens, Amber Stevens, Neil Ayers (Hayley), Brock Ayers; brothers, Dink White, Johnny White; sisters, Emagene Cook, Linda Howard.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Old Country Church in Madison, NC.

Colonial Funeral Home of Madison is serving the family.
