Patricia loved spending time cooking for others and enjoyed opening her home to her friends and family to share time together. Her happiest moments were spent sharing stories about old days and reminiscing about fun times around a table full of home cooked food and surrounded with happiness. Patricia was also passionate about music and attended countless concerts.

She enjoyed giving back to her community. She would volunteer at The Lot 2540 and Meals on Wheels as much as her body would physically allow. She was a member of Woodbine Baptist Church. She was blessed with many cherished friends, through her church life, who helped her on her path to opening her heart to Christ. In her later years she faced numerous obstacles and setbacks with her health, but no matter what battles she faced she never lost her faith in the Lord.

She was affectionately known as Tricia to her siblings and she remained close with them all until her last moments in this life. She loved them all very much and was always thankful for all the love and support they gave her throughout the years. In addition to her siblings she was also blessed with the Fincher family who opened their doors to her when her daughter was an infant and always made sure she knew she was part of their family. She was grateful to be a part of a family so full of love, generosity and kindness. She is preceded in death by her dear friends, Aileen and Dean “Nebo” Fincher and survived by Darlene Bowman (David), Nancy McCollum (David), Tim Fincher (Roxine), Mitchel “Mickey” Fincher and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She is survived by her daughter, Annie Erwin and son-in-law, William Chad Erwin. She had an adventurous and independent spirit that she passed on to her daughter. While her daughter was young they spent as much time as possible traveling, camping and celebrating with family and friends. She was a caring mother who shared her love unconditionally with her daughter and son-in-law.

The true loves of her life were her grandsons, Quintin Harold Holiday and William Fincher Erwin. She devoted her life to her grandkids and spending time with them brought her the greatest joy in her life. The bond she shared with them was unlike any other. In addition to her grandsons she is also survived by her beloved niece, Taylor White and nephews, Robert and John Adkins who she considered to be the sons she was never blessed with. She is survived by her great nephews, Aaron, Nick, Dylan, Jacob, Mary Katherine and Josh Adkins. Many of her happiest memories were the times she opened her home to her grandson, Quintin and her great nephews for countless sleepovers with their friends Briar Flynt, Robert Hudson, Brandon Atkins and Jordan Woods. She cultivated a friendship between these boys through fun adventures that has lasted from childhood into adulthood. This friendship is what she considered to be the cornerstone of her legacy.

She is also survived by many lifelong friends who she cherished. She was especially thankful for friends Gloria Lawson, Linda Berry, Molly Wall, Cindy Gann Hopper and Marilyn Swinson. Their friendships and the time they devoted to her truly meant the world to her.
