Obituary: MYRTLE DYER
























































Myrtle Lee Crumpton Dyer, 95, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Tanner officiating and entombment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm till 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Citty Funeral Home.

A native of Caswell Co., she was a daughter of the late John Wesley “Pritchett’ and Annie “Sudie” Ware Crumpton. Mrs. Dyer lived in Reidsville most of her life. She and her late husband: Frank E. Dyer, owned and operated Dyer Coal and Oil. She was a charter member of Faith Christian Church. Mrs. Dyer was devoted to her Lord Jesus, her husband and 3 boys. She worked tirelessly 6 days a week for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Frank E. Dyer, a son: Billy Dyer, sisters: Rebecca Comer, Elizabeth King, Katherine Stanley, Wilson Woodson, and Ruth King, brothers:

Wesley Crumpton, Lynn Crumpton and infant brother: Paul Crumpton.

Surviving are her sons: Tommy Dyer (Cathy) of Reidsville and Charles Dyer of Indian Land, SC, brother: James Crumpton (Sylvia) of Burlington, grandsons: Michael Dyer and Eddie Dyer, 4 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Charles would like for the public to know that Tommy has been an angel for being there for our Mom every day for many years and making sure she was well loved and taken care of “.
