Obituary: LEON WESLEY WALL

Leon Wesley Wall passed away on Friday April, 19 2024 at Spring Arbor in Greensboro.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday April 21, 2024 At Madison United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Mayodan Municipal cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. until 2:50 p.m. and all other times at the home.

Leon was born on February 28, 1948 to the late John and Doris Wall. He graduated from North Stokes High School and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from Guilford College. Leon retired from RJR Nabisco and Remington Arms. After retirement he enjoyed serving Madison United Methodist Church in various roles. Often you would find Leon working in his garden or tending to his beloved goats and chickens. His prize possession was his great-grandson, Beau.

The family would like to thank Spring Arbor of Greensboro for their loving care and kindness shown to the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents. John W. Wall and Doris Bullington Wall.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Joyce Wall; son, Chad Wall (Donna Bennett), granddaughter, Sydney Dalton (Josh); great-grandson, Beau Dalton; step-sister, Ruby Johnson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Madison United Methodist Church.
