Mr. Jordan Michael Taylor, age 30, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024.
The visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Open Door Ministries, Gainesville, Florida.
The final resting place will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gainesville, Florida.
Jordan Taylor was born to the parents of Paula Sampson and Johnnie Taylor Jr. on July 30, 1993, in Gainesville, Florida.
He received his formal education in the Cumberland County Public School System. He was a graduate of Southview High School – Class of 2012. Jordan also attended Fayetteville Technical Community College.
Jordan was most known for helping homeless people and animals, love for family and fishing, his witty sense of humor, love for music, his beautiful smile, and his Bahamian heritage.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Paula Sampson; his father Johnnie Taylor Jr (Esasha).; one son Julian Taylor, one daughter Jania Taylor; siblings Whitney Davis (William), Jessica Taylor, Jaleah Taylor, Jamyra Taylor, Jadelyse Taylor, Karim and Asia McCants; Grandparents Barbara and Nathaniel Jones, Paul Sampson Sr. (Heaven), Judy and John Taylor (Heaven); Aunts and Uncles Stephanie James (Charlie), Christopher Jones, Paul Sampson Jr. (Heaven), Beverly Taylor-Johnson (Ernest), Tarnecia Cleckley (Anthony), Jacqueline Wade, Jennifer Edens (Leroy) and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Chestnut Funeral Home in Gainesville, Florida is assisting the family.
