Jerry Anthony McCurdy departed this life on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
As a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County, North Carolina, he attended the local public schools and was a retiree of the City of Reidsville. During his leisure, he enjoyed gardening and his favorite quote was “Be yourself”.
His parents, Clarissa Bridges Mc Curdy and Charles Woodrow Mc Curdy; sister, Amanda Mc Curdy, preceded him in death. Survivors are: sisters, Deborah Hunt, Ramona Mc Curdy (Anthony), Felicia Neal (Johnny) and Rhonda Blackwell (Kenneth); brothers, Michael Mc Curdy (Angie), Charlie W. Mc Curdy, Jr. (Cheryl) and Angelo Mc Curdy; aunt, Clocelton Blackwell (Marshall); special friends, Annette Mc Master, Dennis Morgan and Steve Wah; other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be Saturday from 1 until 3 p.m. at Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street.
