J. D. Blackwell departed this life on Wednesday afternoon, March 6, 2024.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2024 from the Cornerstone Christian Center, 516 North Scales Street with Bishop James Patrick presiding. The family visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. at the church. His remains are in the care of Johnson & Sons.
