Obituary: GREGORY “GREG” KEITH JONES

Gregory “Greg” Keith Jones, 60, left this earthly life on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Torrey Easler officiating. Interment will follow in the Mayodan Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison and all other times at 1335 Beaver Creek Road, Mayodan.

Greg was born on February 2, 1964 in Rockingham County to Maxine Priddy Hylton and the late George Thomas Jones. He was a well respected Loan Officer and Manager with Lendmark Financial for thirty-six years. Greg immensely enjoyed traveling, exercising and dancing. He was a loving son, brother and uncle that will forever be remembered as a good man with a big heart.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Wesley Hylton.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-mother, Lucy Jones; brothers, Jerry Jones and wife, Jane and Steve Jones and wife, Penny; step-sisters, Teresa Martin and husband, Danny, Janice Mize and Jeannie Bullock; step-brothers, Tommy Bullock and wife, Kathryn and Michael Bullock; special nieces, Whitney Easler and husband, Torrey and Lauren Jones and special great-niece, Natalie Jane Bishop.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Barry L. Joyce Cancer Support Fund, 725 Ayersville Road, Madison, NC 27025 or a church of your choice.
