Garth Dalmin Green, 77, of Reidsville passed away at his home on October 2 , 2023.
The family is honoring his wishes with a private memorial service.
Garth was born in Reidsville, NC to the late Rufus D. and Junnie Green. He married Elizabeth Everette and they have a son Dalmin. He later married Deloris Yeatts (deceased) and Kelly Green. He worked for NCDOT for a short period before serving in the US Army. Upon returning to civilian life he worked various jobs including furniture refinishing, working horse stables along
with training and showing horses and ground maintenance with American Express. His hobbies included collecting antiques, fishing and later in life found joy in camping.
He is survived by his wife Kelly of the home, son Dalmin Green (Amanda) of Bethany, bonus son Kenny Swisher (Amy) of Stoneville and Glenn (Helen) of Durham; grandchildren – Hannah, Daniel, Paul &; Sarah King, Katie &; Abbie Green, Jacob, Kendall &; Essie Swisher and Nate Poston.
The family would like to give special thanks to Becky Haizlip, Cheryl Evans (Davita) and Krystal Jordan (Hospice) for their comforting care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Rockingham County.
