Frances “Liz” Elizabeth Holland Wilkins, 75, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.
A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, January 10th, at Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel with burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 3 PM, prior to the service, in the chapel.
Liz was born December 13, 1948 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Dewey Ray Holland and Ida Chaney Holland. She was a retired Media Assistant for Rockingham County Schools. Liz was a member of Mayodan First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leo Wilkins; son, Christopher Wilkins (Melissa); five sisters, Alene Hall, Irene Shelton, Louise Lenderman (Fred), Marie Fox (Gary) and Helen Hatcher (Ed); along with her beloved dog, Riley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Swaim and her two dogs, Maddux and Spud.
