Elizabeth Ann Collins – 62, formerly of Lawsonville, N.C., left this earthly life, Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Blue Ridge Therapy Connections Stuart, VA.
She was born in Stokes County, North Carolina on May 5, 1961, to the late Glenn Shelton and Topsy Shaffer Shelton. She attended Hill Top Baptist Church. Elizabeth was a past employee of Tultex Manufacturing. She was an avid reader, talented decorator who enjoyed keeping homes beautiful. Elizabeth loved spending time with her family especially the grandkids. She was a wonderful caring person and was a loving caregiver to all.
Survivors include a son, Joshua Lee Collins; daughter, Melissa C. Tucker (David Gray Tucker); sister, Virginia Lou Duncan (Anderson); and four grandchildren, Dustin Gray Tucker, Hannah Marie Tucker, Noah David Tucker, and Josie Gracie Tucker, and the father of her children Jimmie Collins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Hilltop Baptist Church, 2617 Beasley School Rd, Sandy Ridge, N.C.
