Obituary: EDNA HARRISON CLARK

Edna Harrison Clark, 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Jacob’s Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation.

The funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church and all other times at the home of her daughter, Janet Stanley.

Mrs. Clark was born on November 28, 1933 to the late Marshall Jackson Harrison and Minnie Manuel Harrison. She was a longtime member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was active by teaching Sunday School, being a nursery worker and also being a member of the WMU. She enjoyed reading and fishing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Howard Clark; son, William Roy Clark; granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Clark and sisters, Ella Mae Edwards and Alma Bowman.

Survivors include her children, Janet C. Stanley, Joseph Michael ”Mike” Clark (Laurel) and Craig K. Clark (Dorinda); eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Clark and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, c/o Janet Roberts, 2336 NC Hwy 772, Madison, NC 27025.
