Deborah Hickman Tucker, 66, left this earthly life on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Annie Penn Hospital.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Paul Hooker, Jonathan Goins and Perry Webster officiating. Interment will follow in the Harris Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison and all other times at the residence.
Mrs. Tucker was born on September 22, 1956 in Stokes County to the late Ernest George Hickman and Rosie Lee Goins Hickman. Deborah enjoyed sewing, crafting, watching scary movies and sitting on the porch with her dogs. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved family and working until her health declined.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Stacey Tucker and brother, George Perry Hickman.
Survivors include her husband of nearly forty-three years, Keith Tucker; children, Bradley Tucker (Kimberly) and Ray Stone (Robin); grandchildren, Brandon Stone, Jasmine Tucker, Kelli Stone and Brandi Emerson; great-granddaughter, Everleigh Grubb and sisters, Aline Hickman and Brenda Stephens.
