David Hartsfield Small, 83, died on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his residence.
A native of Rockingham Co., he was a son of the late James H. and Blanche Hardy Small and he had lived in Reidsville all of his life.
The family will see friends from 6:00 till 8:00 PM on Thursday (May 16, 2024) at Citty Funeral Home.
David was the owner of B and S services and a N C National Guard Veteran. He was a member of the Rockingham Fishing Club and an avid fisherman and hunter. David was a talented craftsman and he made a lot of the furniture in his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Jack Small and Bill Small and his sisters: Marian Stadler, Anne Dickerson and Helen Barker.
Surviving is his wife: Sandra Clymer Small of the home, sons: Jeff Small (Amy) and Lee Small (Nicole) both of Reidsville, sister: Elizabeth Spencer of Sugarland, TX, grandchildren: Wesley Small (Morgan), Jacob Small (Madison), Emily Small and Jessica Small, 1 great granddaughter: Sadie Small.
