Brenda Freeman, 73, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Gibson House.
Mrs. Freeman was born on April 10, 1950 in Rockingham County to the late Frank Simpson and Sallie Wilson Simpson. She was an active member of Woodbine Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting, reading and working in her yard. Brenda was also a talented crafter and loved traveling to the beach with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ollie and Nancy Simpson and maternal grandparents, Carlos and Lillie Wilson.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-two years, Bill Freeman; daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Freeman and special aunts, cousins and many extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ancora Compassionate Care, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
